Change

Sometimes what needs to be championed is the case for change, with the details of the technology being, not quite so important what the change is. 

We bring technical credibility and gravitas to situations where the incumbent management might lack the time, background or technical depth to fend off objections. In some cases we might want to get involved in preparing the specific business case, but often the business case has been made and accepted but institutional inertia and management commitments make it hard/impossible to make stick.

Technology

Sometimes specific technologies have been created or identified, and what is needed to unstick things is championing the tech. This might take place by: 

  • Individual sessions working through objections to the technology 

  • Assisting project managers in understanding what is involved in the change 

  • Identifying the actual barriers (animal, mineral, vegetable) to the technical change and working through remedy

Coaching

Sometimes we get involved where individuals need to be championed within their organisation – either through supplementing existing skills; accelerating their decision making process or just generally being around to help them achieve what can do, just needing a bit of encouragement
